SEF inspectors integrated into the PSP will have their own career

Inspectors from the Aliens and Borders Service (SEF) who are transferred to the PSP during the process of extinguishing the first security force will be integrated into a career of their own. The revelation was made this Thursday to the unions by the national director of the PSP, Magina da Silva, who explained that the Organic Unit for Airport Security (UOSA) is already created, but not yet regulated, SEF. This same unit, according to Magina da Silva, will be commanded by a PSP officer to be designated.

GNR will take over the port inspection previously carried out by the Foreigners and Borders Service.

So far, no date was revealed this Thursday for the formal extinction of the SEF, and the consequent entry into office of the UOSA. PSP agents who provide services there, however, will have to undergo training in document control and security of airport facilities. It is recalled that, according to the government plan for the extinction of the SEF, the GNR will assume the port supervision carried out by this security force, and the Judiciary Police will assume the competences of criminal investigation.
